Internship Description:
Getting real world experience prior to graduation is invaluable in determining career goals and aspirations. Students with actual work experience have an advantage, as they begin their job search. You will be involved in projects that help you learn, develop business skills, and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon’s business and goals.
The Canon Insights program will give you access to various departments within Canon, as well as their key leaders.

The Canon Insights Program is a robust 10-week intensive paid internship, offering valuable work and life experience that will help you, no matter which direction you take after school.
This program is designed to provide undergraduate students with an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects, training, meetings, presentations and activities. Interns will also likely have exposure to various business units and all levels of management.
As an Intern at Canon U.S.A., you will be exposed to business, marketing and strategy initiatives.
Internship Duration:
The Canon Insights Internship Program is a summer program that will run from June 3, 2019 – August 9, 2019. It is a full time (9AM-5PM) schedule, based on a 35 hour work week, and is a paid internship.
The intern will be doing rotation in each of the area of Learning and Development and will be assigned a project within each area to be completed over the course of their 10 weeks with them. The areas to be included are: Facilitation, Content Development, and Administration (including Learning Management System administration)
Week 1 – Orientation of intern – Each team 1 hr with intern going over what they do
Week 2-3 – Content Dev
Week 4-5 – Canon Academy
Week 6-7 – Facilitation
Week 8-10 – Wrap up with each team presenting back assigned projects

To be eligible, applicants must:
- Seeking a student with a Preferred Educational focus: HR Learning and Development, Adult education, Organizational development, or Business
- Detail Oriented, MS Office or Google equivalent, Interested in the learning process (designing & developing instructional material)
